The UAE hosts a large number of international organizations (IOs), a phenomenon that has not been significantly examined in existing literature. This research examines the factors contributing to this phenomenon, emphasizing on geography, safety, connectivity, funding assistance, quality of life, community engagement, legal and regulatory environment, and reputation. A semi-structured interviews approach is employed, focusing on interviewing IOs representatives, alongside an analysis of secondary literature. The findings seek to provide a nuanced understanding of the strategic motivations driving IOs to establish a presence in the country. This research identifies gaps in current studies and offers insights for policymakers, IOs, and academics interested in global oversight and regional diplomacy.
