Global Warming is one of the major issues that the world is facing nowadays, and Life Cycle Assessment is a useful tool that researchers are implying to study different the effect of materials on the environment. As Civil Engineers it is important to know how the materials impacts the environment and find solutions that can reduce it. Aggregates is one of the important materials that is used in many ways in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. Many researches have been made in different parts of the world except the Middle East or specifically the United Arab Emirates. The goals of this research includes: (a) establishing a regional life cycle inventory for aggregate production and the alternatives; and (b) evaluate the environmental impacts arising from aggregate production and the use of different alternative material. The outcomes of the study can be helpful in the future for engineering experts and practitioners to a make logical decision regarding the aggregate production and the use of the alternative. The functional unit is defined as the production of 1 ton of aggregates, i.e. 1 ton of recycled rubber.
