The efforts at Khalifa University to design and construct CubeSats for technology demonstration mark a significant stride in advancing space capabilities. A 6U CubeSat is currently an ongoing project and will be launched into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The primary objective of this research thesis is the Design, Test, and Verification of an Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) tailored specifically for CubeSat applications. This thesis focuses on the design, fabrication, assembly, and performance testing of a reaction wheel integrated with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), encompassing the controller card and relevant testing equipment. In the subsequent phase, the developed reaction wheel will undergo testing in a Satellite attitude simulator, ensuring its efficacy in meeting the mission requirements.
