The Oceanic Anoxic Event 1a (OAE 1a) is responsible for one of the most abrupt climate and carbon cycle perturbations in the Mesozoic Era during which a severe greenhouse period was triggered, accompanied by global transgression and increased continental weathering and runoff. The OAE 1a event is well-documented in the Early Aptian Hawar Member and Shu'aiba Formation in the Arabian plate. The studied Sajaa-3 well section is near the northern margin of the intra-shelf Bab Basin which is a study area that has not been the focus of research before. This study aims to utilize stable
