  • Maha Aldhaheri

Student thesis: Master's Thesis

Abstract

Consumer expectations continue to evolve rapidly in an increasingly complex and dynamic world. Consumers now require innovative products and services that align with their needs and address their pain points. Existing frameworks such as Six Sigma (SS) and Design Thinking (DT) must be harnessed to meet and surpass these expectations. In addition, integrating SS and DT will illuminate their unique benefits and bridge inherent gaps.

This project conducts a systematic literature review to identify the prevalent SS and DT framework, tools and techniques, and the underlying reason for SS and DT implementation. Then, secondary research is conducted to determine limitations, core principles, and the identified prevalent framework. Finally, an integrated framework is conceptualized and evaluated based on experts' opinions.
