title = "Wideband circular microwave imaging array embedded into metallic cylinder",
abstract = "Cylindrical microwave imaging systems have shown practical potential in wide range of biomedical and industrial applications. In this paper, the design of new wideband circular microwave imaging array is introduced. The imaging array consists of staggered 32 waveguide-fed rectangular apertures cut into the wall of metallic cylinder. The array operates over the frequency range from 9 - 14 GHz. Monostatic sensing and imaging inside the cylinder is accomplished using a custom-made 1-to-32 switch. The design and characterization of the array as well as preliminary imaging results are detailed herein.",
