Abstract

The reports from survey on application of Lean Sigma principles for waste reduction, variability reduction and enhanced customer satisfaction are discussed. Lean production is considered as strategy to achieve continuous improvement in business process performance through the elimination of waste. Six Sigma is powerful business strategy used for driving out variability from processes through effective utilization of statistical tools and techniques. This is observed as disciplined methodology which use data and statistical analysis to improve the company's operational performance by eliminating failures in transactional related processes.
