Abstract
A small air shower array has been installed in the core of the LOFAR radio telescope in the Netherlands. The objective is to contribute to the investigation of radio emission from extensive air showers with the LOFAR telescope. LORA serves as trigger for the radio antennas and is used to determine basic air shower parameters. The set-up of the detector array is described. The performance of the detector and first results are discussed.
