Abstract
The tension-tension fatigue behavior of unidirectional, aligned single-wall carbon nanotube (SWNT) rope reinforced epoxy composite was investigated. Damage and failure modes of SWNT/epoxy were examined under a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results showed that SWNT ropes have good potential as reinforcement in fatigue resistant, high fracture toughness polymer composites.
