Abstract

Practical aspects of the implementation of the modified relay feedback test and other algorithms in industrial loop tuning software are discussed in Chap.7. Such problems as the dependence of test software residence on performance, and the existence and the effects of noise, disturbances and process nonlinearities are analysed. An example of industrial loop tuning software is given.
