Abstract

A rapid test performed on easy to prepare specimens, that gave decisive answers for materials characteristics required for pavement designs was presented. The principle of semi-circular bending test was shown to determine the characteristics of the material investigated. A disc cut form gyratory sample, or core and sawn into two equal parts resulting in two semi-circular specimens. It was found that test described fulfilled the requirements of the materials tested.
