Abstract

Epoxy-based carbon fibre reinforced composites (CFRPs), with and without carbon nanotubes (CNTs), were prepared through a solventless prepegging process; studies were conducted to optimise the material and process parameters and evaluate the curing behaviour. The CNT-CFRP hybrid composites with 0.5wt% CNTs exhibited significant improvements in interlaminar shear and torsional shear properties.
