Pfaffian solutions to a generalized KP system with variable coefficients

Abstract

The Pfaffianization procedure of Ohta and Hirota is used to extend a (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation with variable coefficients(vcKP) to a new coupled vcKP system. Pfaffian technique is employed in computing Wronski-type Pfaffian and Gramm- type Pfaffian solutions for the resulting Pfaffianized system.
