Abstract

The authors describe the implementation of LMS and RLS adaptive multichannel combiners for a 50km underwater acoustic channel, and present experimental results on their performance. BPSK transmission was used and the phase constellation plots obtained show that both combiners achieve a significant improvement in SINR and BER over single elements.
