Abstract
Mainstream treatment methods currently include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgical debulking for ovarian cancer (OC). To enhance survival rates for patients diagnosed in advanced stages, it is vital to tackle issues like drug resistance, angiogenesis, relapse, and metastasis. Recent developments in treatment approaches, possible biomarkers, and technological enhancements discussed in this piece can offer promising insights for better management of OC. The review emphasizes the urgency to comprehend the intricate biology of the disease and spot potential biomarkers for early diagnosis and predicting treatment responses. It discusses current therapeutic strategies and research related to potential biomarkers. By advancing technology and exploring novel biomarkers, there is a focus on improving diagnosis accuracy, treatment outcomes, and ultimately enhancing patients’ survival and well-being.
