Abstract

This paper considers output tracking of piecewise discrete time linear systems via error feedback. Several sufficient conditions to guarantee the output tracking of such systems via error feedback have been obtained based on a piecewise smooth Lyapunov function. It is shown that the resulting closed loop system is globally stable and the output tracking is achieved asymptotically. One simulation example about the famous Chua's circuit is given to illustrate the advantage of the proposed approach.
