Unlike previous formulations, the proposed problem formulation takes into account the discrete nature of pickup current settings and the available time-current characteristics of the relay. The coordination problem is formulated as a Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) problem and is solved using the DICOPT solver in GAMS.",
