title = "Opportunistic spectrum access using collaborative sensing in Nakagami-m fading channel with real fading parameter",
abstract = "This paper investigates collaborative sensing for opportunistic spectrum access in Nakagami fading channel. This technique gives a chance of using a spectrum band by secondary users when the primary users (licensee) are idle. Secondary users will keep sensing the channel for white spectrum. In this paper we studied the scenario when the channel between the primary and the secondary users is generalized Nakagami-m fading channel. Numerical evaluation of the probability of detection with real fading parameters is presented. The work also presents the effect of number of collaborative sensors using square law combining. Significant improvement in spectrum utilization is achieved",
