Abstract

Technological improvements of sensing technologies make available a great amount of fine-grained ambient information, which can be exploited to secure pervasive computing applications for critacal domains. In this chapter, we introduce open ambient, a web-based architecture that integrates an access control model and language with personalization and location technologies to provide an ambient-aware access control.
