Abstract
In the past few years, much attention has been paid to the enantioselective synthesis of pyrrolidines and piperidines, given that they are extensively used as catalysts, ligands and constitute important structural motifs in medicinal chemistry. This manuscript has the aim to cover the principal organometallic and organocatalytic methodologies to synthesize them.
