Abstract

Results of analysis of some 500 samples serve as a basis for defining the textures, morphologies and chemical properties of diagenetic illite, illite-smectite, kaolinite and chlorite from Visingso group and Dala Sandstone formation sedimentary sequences. Special reference is made to the relationship of changes in the chemistry of the clay minerals with diagenetic conditions.-M.S.
