Merging Organocatalysis with Metals - New Opportunities for Asymmetric Synthesis

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

In this chapter, we focus our attention on the merging of metal chemistry with organocatalysis. The chapter describes the more important approaches using enamine, iminium, and NHC chemistry. From the pioneering works of Cordova and Sairic regarding intra- and intermolecular Tsuji-Trost-type reactions promoted by enamine chemistry since the last cascade reactions, which are able to build several C-C or C-heteroatom with almost perfect stereoselectivity even for spirocompounds.
