Abstract
The 2-D linear and nonlinear properties of Rao-dust-magnetohydrodynamics (R-D-MHD) waves in uniform cold magnetoplasma are described. The linear and nonlinear propagation of R-D-MHD waves are described using inertialess electron equation of motion, Ampere's law, Faraday's law and continuity equation in plasma. The immobile dust grains produces the Rao cutoff frequency in linear regime which is proportional to dust charge density and ion gyrofrequency. The cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation also governs dynamics of amplitude modulated R-D-MHD.
