Abstract
We present a new Fokker-Planck-type (linear) collision operator for magnetized plasma, in a test-particle formulation, by considering the influence of the magnetic field on trajectories and screening effects through an appropriate Debye potential. New exact expressions are obtained for the diffusion and friction coefficients, as a function of velocity; their explicit form depends on the field, particle density and temperature.
