Abstract

We propose a device able to generate trains of Josephson fluxons without application of external magnetic field - fluxon pump. The pulses of individual fluxons are generated by cloning single fluxons trapped inside a reservoir. When an electric current is applied, a flow of fluxons is generated in the long attachment connected to the reservoir of fluxons. The role of a reservoir is played by Josephson junctions in the form of a loop where one or several fluxons are permanently trapped. Crown
