Abstract

This paper presents a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) for a HVDC circuit breaker system. The analysis is intended to identify failures which have consequences affecting the functioning of the DC breaker system, thus enabling priorities for action to be set.
