Abstract
In this work, a 2D MoS2 nanoparticle based solar cells is fabricated. The MoS2 nanoparticles (NPs) are synthesized through a chemical exfoliation method then drop casted on the Si substrate. Both SEM and AFM are sed to characterize and observe the MoS2 NPs coverage on the substrate. The MoS2 solar cell performance is tested under AM1.5G showing a proof of concept. In addition, it an increased in the MoS2 photodiode's responsivity conmpared to a control Si diode is seen.
