Abstract

The paper presents a comparison of five fault tolerant multilevel dc/dc converters. Initially the paper describes the transitions needed to change each standard multilevel dc/dc converter into a fault tolerant circuit. Then an assessment is carried out to identify the most cost-effective fault tolerant multilevel dc/dc converter topology.
