Characterization methods of grain boundary and triple junction distributions

    Two grain boundary characterization methods, including and excluding twins were compared. They appeared to be equivalent in determining crack arrest probability within one grain size using a probabilistic approach. However, in determining the probability of crack arrest within a length, twins should be excluded.
