Abstract

We present experimental and theoretical results for T-junction flux flow oscillator in which the flow of Josephson fluxons is subjected to the influence of a T-junction. Our experimental results indicate a broad spectrum of the ac electric field generated by such oscillator. Our numerical calculations with the use of microscopic tunneling theory confirm this conclusion and suggest a chaotic dynamics in most of its current-voltage characteristics.
