Abstract

This study investigates the performance of an asymmetrical 15-level multilevel inverter topology featuring four half-bridge modules and three input DC voltage sources. The voltage sources ratio is 1:2:5. A multi-carrier level-shifted PWM control strategy is employed to generate the required gate pulses of the proposed inverter. The inverter operation is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink software. The research assesses the inverter's performance under varying load conditions and modulation indices, aiming to validate its effectiveness in industrial and renewable energy applications.
