Abstract
Uterine abnormalities may be associated with repeated pregnancy wastage. The pathophysiology that results in pregnancy loss is unclear. For the most part, the uterus is implicated as an etiologic factor only after all other factors have been excluded. This is a review of the current literature on anatomic uterine factors associated with repeated pregnancy wastage and a discussion of the principles of uterine reconstructive surgery.
