    Abstract

As the number of vehicles in the VANETS are increasing day by day, each vehicle generates many multipath signals at the receiver. Bearing estimation is one of active research in VANETs for like tracking systems. Therefore, it is very important for a receiver to estimate the direction of arrival of signals and what are their possible angular locations. This information helps us to suppress interference available in particular angular direction and allow the wanted signal in a particular angular direction for greater fidelity. This paper analyses, estimate and calculates the various direction of arrival estimation techniques. Finally, we compare the performance characteristics of various angular estimation technique proposed in this paper.
