Abstract
A multistage space-time receiver for non-power controlled DS CDMA systems is proposed. An adaptive structure employing constant modulus beamforming and spatial cancellation is used to recover a weak user in the presence of a strong interfering user. Computer simulations show that the proposed structure is capable of decoding a weak user under 30 dB multiple access interference.
