Abstract
Oguntunde et al. (Wirel Pers Commun 109:349–360, 2019) introduced the three-parameter Topp–Leone Lomax distribution and applied it to the airbone communication transceiver data. Here, we show that several simpler one- and two-parameter distributions can provide a better fit to the data. We also point out some mistakes in Oguntunde et al.
