Abstract
Future wireless networks are expected to support diverse transmission rates and different QoS. MultiCode-CDMA appears as a suitable technology to deliver a wide spectrum of transmission rates within a single network. This paper deals with the remaining problem of diverse QoS provisioning in a MultiCode-CDMA network. For the QoS, this paper has proposed a radio resource allocation scheme based on the generalized processor sharing (GPS) concept The proposed scheme considers Rayleigh fading, and capable of providing both BER guarantees and delay guarantees simultaneously. The performance of the scheme have been examined and an admission control procedure has been developed. The proposed resource allocation scheme is useful to support integrated services with diverse QoS in MultiCode-CDMA networks.
