Abstract

Ball mill pulverizing systems are typical nonlinear multivariable coupled systems. The paper proposes a T-S fuzzy modeling algorithm, which is based on subtractive clustering and is featured by strong process discriminating capability. The simultaneously obtained fuzzy rules and can be clearly interpreted and analyzed by means of the mechanism. On the other hand this calculation method can fuse the mechanism's characteristics into the modeling process; thus, simultaneously with simplified structural discrimination capability, effect to superior global modeling is secured. The relatively transparent fuzzy models may serve as a footing for the design of advanced model-based controllers.
