Description
The instrument will be used for the determination of AOX (Adsorbable Organic Halides) in water and wastewater. The sample is prepared by Batch method where the activated carbon (about 50mg) and a sample (20ml) are poured into a beaker and stirred for 1 hour to adsorb it. Adsorbed activated carbon is filtrated by frits with Activated Carbon Adsorption Unit SA-200. The frits are directly dropped to a pyrolysis tube at 950C and the produced gases are dehydrated and cleaned in the dehydrating tube with the carrier gas and are introduced into a titration cell.
