    Description

Mark Two is a Continuous Fiber Composite 3D Printer, built to revolutionize your manufacturing operation. The Mark Two is Markforged's most versatile desktop series printer built to make great-looking prototypes and strong, functional parts. Mark Two uses the patented CFR (Continuous Fiber Reinforcement) technology to fuse continuous strands of carbon fiber into parts, making them suitable for demanding engineering applications like high-strength tools and even high-performance end-use parts. Industrial grade performance starts with an all-aluminium unibody chassis built around an ultra-flat gantry system. Add a machined aluminium stage with kinematic bed coupling, and a precision ground print bed and you get best-in-class reliability and surface finish. It’s built around an aluminium unibody frame that delivers high accuracy and repeatability. A hardened extrusion system enables the Mark Two to print Onyx — a micro carbon fibre-filled nylon filament that destroys traditional extrusion systems — reliably over thousands of print hours. The machine is built to be easy to operate and maintain — from easy-to-reach wear components (like nozzles and feed tubes) to usability focused features like the print bed, which can be removed and replaced with 10 μm repeatability. In addition to more common FFF features, the Mark Two has a 2nd-generation fibre reinforcement system that enables the lay down of continuous fiber into parts. Markforged composite printers are capable of printing continuous fibre-reinforced parts, which can be as strong as machined aluminium.
