Description
Raman Spectroscopy is a powerful non-destructive and non-contact method to analyze the chemical composition and molecular structure of a material. The technique involves illuminating a sample with a monochromatic light source (laser) and capturing the inelastically scattered light (Raman effect). The Horiba LabRAM HR Evolution is a high-resolution confocal Raman microscope system manufactured by Horiba Scientific. Currently, the instrument has one laser source (633nm), two diffraction gratings (300g/mm and 1800g/mm), motorized XYZ stage and free-space microscope. The instrument is controlled using LabSpec 6 software.
