Description
The Perkin Elmer Frontier FTIR spectrometer is used to collect high resolution infrared spectral data of materials over MIR spectral region and thereafter convert the raw data into the actual spectrum through a mathematical process known as Fourier Transform.
The instrument has a patented DynaScan interferometer, hot‐spot stabilized source, sealed and desiccated Ge‐coated KBr optics and a temperature‐stabilized DTGS detector which enables a scan range of 8,300‐350cm‐1 whilst delivering 0.4cm‐1 resolution and 15,000:1 peak‐peak noise (>50,000:1 RMS) for a 5 second scan. The full size sample compartment automatically detects and optimises performance of accessories and incorporates as quick release lid with sample viewing window.
The sampling accessories included with the instrument are GladiATR Diamond, Multiple Reflection HATR Flat & Trough Plate ZnSe, Variable Temperature Cell & a 15 Ton KBr pellet press.
