Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer

The spectrometer is designed for FT-IR spectroscopic measurements. It is suited for all kinds of solid, liquid and gaseous samples which absorb infrared light. One can use the unique collection of absorption bands to confirm the identity of a pure compound or to detect the presence of specific impurities. Proper sample preparation is crucial to obtain good and meaningful spectra. For solid samples, the easiest to analyze are film and polymer samples with a thickness of less than approx. 100µm. Meanwhile for fluids, a volume of approx. 0.5ml with concentration up to 100% can be used for analysis.
